Trident Iceni Grand Tourer - 200mph and 70mpg!
4th September 2012
A new diesel-powered British supercar, the Trident Iceni Grand Tourer, will be launched at the Salon Privé show in London next week. This innovative new car from Norfolk is capable of 200mph and a 0-62mph time of only 3.7 seconds yet can achieve almost 70mpg. This remarkable fuel consumption is achieved by the 6.6 litre turbodiesel, which delivers 430bhp, spinning at just 980rpm at 70mph. According to its makers, Trident Sports Cars Ltd, this helps the Iceni return 68.9mpg and go over 2000 miles between fill-ups. Each car is built to order and prices start from £75,000.
